rain, rain, rain and FUN, FUN, FUN
In spite of our week of monsoon rains, our Saturday festivities created many wonderful memories and firsts in Madison Park.
The day began with a Wreath Making Class at the Bathhouse
The Pop-up Artisan Market (2nd one is December 16, from 10-3 at B of A parking lot) offered a variety of handmade Christmas gifts.
Kids crafts at the Pop-Up Market
and Santa visited Red Wagon Toys with face painting, balloons and treats.
Georgina and Mary welcome all the children.
All the shops were at their festive best for local shopping.
The first Tree Lighting in the Park was a hit ( even if slightly muddy) with over 60 from McGilvra Elementary School singing ‘Frosty the Snowman” and “Hot Chocolate”.
Don’t forget on December 21st, Santa visits the Bathhouse from 6-9, then 8:40, the Christmas Ships and cookies and a beach bonfire.
