Friends of Madison Park neighborhood meeting was held the last Monday of July with a turn out of 40 neighbors- an enthusiastic crowd! Please watch the video of the meeting to catch up on all that is going on. July Neighborhood Meeting
Music in the Park begins tonight- August 3 from 6:30 to 8 in the park! Bring your picnic blanket and dancing shoes. Sponsored by Windermere Real Estate Madison Park, tonight’s concert is the Buena Vibra band- Salsa music and dancers. A raffle will be held with prize gifts from our local businesses and supporting Friends of Madison Park.
Urgently Seeking Support for two projects to benefit the neighborhood:
Lighting of the Trees along the Madison Business Corridor. Parkshore has donated $3000 to light the trees beginning in November but the full cost is $6000. Friends is seeking $3000 in contributions to reach the balance needed. This treasured tradition provides holiday spirit and safety for all the Madison Park residents. PLEASE help- all size donations welcome!
Neighborhood Bulletin Board to be mounted on the 42nd Ave E wall of the Madison Park Pharmacy and Wellness Center. Chalkboard artist Anne Woodford is creating an eye-popping 8’ x 4’ bulletin board with monthly and quarterly updates of what’s going on in our neighborhood, links to our website, Instagram and Facebook and QR Code. The cost estimate is $1500 with ~$65 quarterly for updates. PLEASE help- donations of all sizes are welcome!
