TIME SENSITIVE
Because we have many parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends of families with students at McGilvra Elementary School, AND decisions are imminent on the fate of McGilvra AND a rally will be held tomorrow - here is a REMINDER: if you want your voice to be heard in person or with an email to the school board, please pay attention to the latest communication from the McGilvra PTA below.
The Seattle School Board will meet TOMORROW and they could vote on the Superintendent's revised plan to close five schools next year. It is critical that we speak up NOW. This might be the last opportunity we have to tell the School Board to vote NO on school closures! If you have not sent a message to the school board, there is no time to waste!! It will take just a few clicks and could make a huge difference in saving McGilvra and other beloved schools in our city. Please forward this message to other McGilvra families because we don't have everyone on our mailing list and taking this action TODAY is really important.

In addition, don't forget to attend the rally tomorrow outside the John Stanford Center (2445 3rd Ave. S) at 3:45 p.m.. More than 300 people attended the last one and we know if made a difference. Wear red, bring signs, bring your kids, and bring friends and family.
