Justice for Ruth
On August 20, 2024, Ruth Dalton and her beloved dog, Prince, were tragically lost to senseless violence during a carjacking. In response, the community she so dearly touched is coming together to honor her legacy of love and kindness and to advocate for solutions to the violence that took her from us.
Please join your neighbors for a Candlelight Memorial Walk on Wednesday, September 4, at 6:30 PM that will begin at the corner of Harrison Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way and conclude at Madison Park.
Ruth Dalton was a cherished mother, grandmother, and a devoted friend to all animals. A pillar of the local community, she founded and operated Grandma’s Critter Care for over 30 years, dedicating her life to animal rescue and care.
