What An Amazing Day!

This past Saturday, March 30th, Friends of Madison Park hosted an Easter Egg Hunt that surely broke some kind of record for how many children and families could gather at one time in our park and playground! On a beautiful sunny morning, hundreds of children rushed for Easter eggs, played games, made bunny ears, got their faces painted, listened to live music and ate delicious treats from Madison Kitchen and Becky Voboril’s kitchen- all while everyone enjoyed the perfect spring weather and each other’s company. The numbers far surpassed our expectations and for those children who did not find as many eggs as they had hoped, next year we promise to multiply eggs and all supplies. Thanks to chair Becky Voboril, Gayatri Thacker and all the volunteers, Key Bank and sponsors NFM Lending and Madison Park Hardware who made this day a huge success!

Here is a short clip that captures the energy, joy (and a bit of chaos) of that wonderful morning.

Please know that we can only put on these FREE events with the help of your funding and generous business sponsors. BECOME A MONTHLY SUBSCRIBER TO FRIENDS OF MADISON PARK HERE. OR MAKE A ONE TIME DONATION HERE.
