IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Sometimes lost in the fine print but worth remembering as we begin 2024, is the

Mission Statement of Friends of Madison Park:

“Promoting a resilient and civically-engaged community by connecting neighbors. Creating a welcoming and inclusive neighborhood through cultural and multi-generational engagement and outreach. Fostering neighborhood pride by promoting a beautiful, vibrant, and respectful community.”

THE SIMPLE STEPS TO HELP FRIENDS OF MADISON PARK MEET THAT MISSION:

STEP 1- Become a Recurring Subscriber. This is huge for Friends of Madison Park and an autopay click away HERE.  You can be a recurring donor of $10, $15, $25… per month. This assures we can continue to provide many free and low cost events to the neighborhood and maintain our business and community areas.

STEP 2- Volunteer.  Whether you have 2 hours on the day of an event or 2 months to help event planning or join a committee, every volunteer is the ONLY WAY Friends can organize and put on events, beautify our community, have the help to reach out to everyone. Go to our Volunteer Page: every event and project is listed, and the number of volunteers needed; click to help!

STEP 3- Encourage friends to Subscribe to our Newsletter. On our HOME page, scroll down and simply fill out your name and email, hit Submit and get regular updates of what is happening in Madison Park. Click HERE. The goal is to reach every household in our community over the next year.

STEP 4- TAKE THIS 5 MINUTE SURVEY! Want a Community Center? Want improvements at our beach? In our parks? First step is hearing from YOU- what does the community want for Madison Park. Do it Now!

STEP 5- Subscribe to our Neighborhood Meetings on YouTube. Our January 29th Neighborhood Meeting was a packed evening. You can view it all HERE. And when you do- click “SUBSCRIBE” so that we can get viewers to a number that allows us to Live Stream all our meetings going forward.  We are halfway there!

STEP 6- Follow Friends of Madison Park’s Instagram and Facebook pages. Invite your friends to join you.
