Farmer’s Market and Updated Agenda

Speak Up about the Madison Park Farmers Market! Your Voice Matters.

Seattle’s Department of Transportation (SDOT) is now deciding whether a pilot Farmers Market can move forward in Madison Park. Public comments are open until March 17, 2025. This is your chance to make your voice heard. In the coming days, you’ll see Public Notices posted around the neighborhood and residents and businesses adjacent to the proposed market will receive notices as well.

Now is the time for SDOT to hear you! Late last year, over 700 residents and businesses responded to our neighborhood survey about bringing a Farmers Market to Madison Park with over 90% supporting a trial run this summer, running Saturdays, June 7 – September 20. Friends of Madison Park conveyed community sentiment to SDOT—along with the survey results.

Click here to email SDOT or read more about it.

Every comment counts - don’t miss your opportunity! We encourage all community members to share their perspective so that SDOT has a full understanding of public sentiment before making its final decision.

We’ll be discussing the Farmers Market at our neighborhood meeting on Tuesday, March 4, at 7 PMat the Bathhouse. The agenda has been adjusted to include a discussion on SDOT’s Public Notice of Application for the proposed market.
